EMOTIONS IN BLACK AND WHITE CONTEST

"An emotion is a mental and physiological state associated with a wide variety of feelings, thoughts, and behavior. Emotions are subjective experiences, often associated with mood, temperament, personality, and disposition.

A related distinction is between the emotion and the results of the emotion, principally behaviors and emotional expressions. People often behave in certain ways as a direct result of their emotional state, such as crying, fighting or fleeing."


the deal in here is to create/transmit/catch an emotion within a photograph, any emotion you want just make it clear, make it real.

**the contest starts on JANUARY 5
**deadline: MARCH 1st

**maximum of entries: 3 per deviant
**your entries MUST BE NEW and specially made for this contest, i won't accept old deviations (that means nothing that has been submitted before the fifth of January)
**your entry(s) must be original (means you HAVE to own the rights of the photograph, do not steal)
**i won't accept collaborations


**your entry must be in BLACK AND WHITE OR SEPIA

**ONLY PHOTOGRAPHY ENTRIES, no manipulations allowed (see facts) all categories allowed (photojournalism, nude, self portraits, etc.)

add textures (if you use other deviant/person textures make sure to give credit)
convert from color to black and white
minor adjustments such as levels/saturation/contrast/curves
adding of frames or watermarks is ok

*****what you CAN'T DO to you photos:
major adjustments such as use of many layers and filters
place 2 or more images one over the other
move, delete or change objects withing the picture
