EMOTIONS IN BLACK AND WHITE CONTEST"An emotion is a mental and physiological state associated with a wide variety of feelings, thoughts, and behavior. Emotions are subjective experiences, often associated with mood, temperament, personality, and disposition.
A related distinction is between the emotion and the results of the emotion, principally behaviors and emotional expressions. People often behave in certain ways as a direct result of their emotional state, such as crying, fighting or fleeing."
the deal in here is to create/transmit/catch an emotion within a photograph, any emotion you want just make it clear, make it real.

add textures (if you use other deviant/person textures make sure to give credit)
convert from color to black and white
minor adjustments such as levels/saturation/contrast/curves
adding of frames or watermarks is ok
*****what you CAN NOT DO to you photos:
major adjustments such as use of many layers and filters
place 2 or more images one over the other
move, delete or change objects within the picture
