you've to read THE RULES these apply for all categories:


above all the rules: do not copy other works and try to think outside the box, for example if you're going to participate in the photography category i don't want to see the usual water droplets on feathers or flowers, or cherry trees, or simple flower or eyes shots. If you're going to participate with a photomanip in the digital art category please please avoid girls on black skirts with crows and crosses PLEASE NO!! no cliché.

the contest is only open to the following levels:
intermediate and beginners i'll measure that by taking a look at your gallery. if you're a gallery director, a senior or a member of the DA staff you cannot send an entry. (check the bottom of this journal please "meassuring art")

your entry must be specially made for this contest!!

your entries must be submited after the day the contest officially started (April 1st) and you must send them to me via note with the subject "contest entry" or something similar.

you can submit as many entries as you like, but remember "quality over quantity".

you have to credit all the resources you used (if you used any) and also let know in a comment if in the deviation you used your own stock/resources.

write in the artist comments that your deviation is an entry for the *my-dark-desire contest and provide a link to this journal.

deadline June 30 that gives you 3 months to get inspired and make a kick ass job!!

****note: if you're going to send an entry for the literature category make sure to send something short (no much more than 3000 words if it's a story), remember that the judges will have to read all the entries

send a collaboration
enter with the same deviation to another contest
send an entry if you're a judge (in your same category) or a gallery director, a senior or a member of the DA staff.
send a cliché deviation or a work made from a third part
use any copyrighted image or text (fragments or the full).

if you don't follow the rules you will be disqualified

i own the right to create new rules or change them at any time for any reason i may think convenient
